new experiences of old memories

this series is about not just accepting what’s in front of us, but being inspired by it.

the roll of film damaged by liquid, the images in this series challenged me to see things in a new way. when i received my scans, i noticed a variety of stains and artifacts that initially made me feel like i had lost the photos. however, after spending some time with them, i noticed that the pictures weren’t ruined, but they had evolved. once i opened up to what the images had become, i saw how much these ‘mistakes’ were such an important part of the story.
